چکیده

Abstract To meet the requirements of Tianwen-1 mission, adaptive entry guidance for vehicles, with low lift-to-drag ratios, limited control authority, and large initial state bias, was presented. Typically, law is divided into four distinct phases: trim angle-of-attack phase, range heading alignment trim-wing deployment phase. In predictor—corrector algorithm improved by planning an on-board trajectory based on Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) algorithm. The nominal designed described using a combination downrange value other states, such as drag acceleration altitude rate. For modified onboard weighing landing accuracy, parachute altitude. biggest advantage this approach that it allows successful correction errors avoidance saturation. An overview optimal design process, including discussion flight path angle, relevant event trigger, transition conditions between phases, also Finally, telemetry data analysis post-flight assessment results were used to illustrate law, create good subsequent reduction power processes, gauge success mission.

Mission-adaptive crowd navigation for mobile robots

Recent developments in mobile robotics made feasible the near future scenario of mobile robots assisting individual persons. Such robots must maintain a sufficient distance from their human owners to be able to offer assistance, but otherwise they need to be inconspicuous and observe the prevailing social and cultural norms. We are considering a scenario of mobile robots assisting a peacekeeper...

Potential for Integrating Entry Guidance into the Multi-Disciplinary Entry Vehicle Optimization Environment

The state-of-the-art in vehicle design decouples flight feasible trajectory generation from the optimization process of an entry spacecraft shape. The disadvantage to this decoupled process is seen when a particular aeroshell does not meet in-flight requirements when integrated into Guidance, Navigation, and Control simulations. It is postulated that the integration of a guidance algorithm into...

Adaptive mission planning: the embedded OODA loop

This paper proposes a novel technique for autonomous mission plan recovery in order to increase operability of unmanned underwater vehicles. It combines the benefits of knowledge-based ontology representation, autonomous partial ordering plan repair and robust mission execution. The approach is based on a combination of unrefinement and refinement stages on the plan-space domain in order to ada...

A Three-dimensional Predictive Entry Guidance Approach

The Space Shuttle’s two-dimensional entry trajectory planning method is extended to three dimensions. Both angle-of-attack and angle-of-bank variations are used to control the entry trajectory. The trajectory planning is done with a third-order system of differential equations using the drag and lateral accelerations as intermediate controls. The reduced-order planning problem is solved first i...

Optimal Re-Entry Guidance of Space Vehicles

The applicability and the eeciency of a new numerical method for the real-time computation of closed loop controls is demonstrated by the simulation of the guidance of a space vehicle during atmosheric re-entry. This so-called repeated correction method is based on the one hand on the accessory minimum problem or the concept of neighboring extremals and on the other hand on the multiple shootin...
